and I learn about the Zaklash.
I never knew the man. The extent of our interaction is him linking my blog once (causing a very sudden spike in traffic that quickly died off), commenting on the post he was linking, and me buying a few of his books and reading his blog. Even so, even having had this little involvement with the man, even though I've never publicly defended him, even learning about it months later than everyone else, I still feel the need to say something.
I don't think I can ever look at anything he's made the same way again.
Hell, I don't know if I can look at LotFP the same way after Raggi's refusal to fully condemn Zak in his statement.
It's one of those things where it clicks a little too well when you hear it.
It makes me ashamed of all the times I linked to his blog.
I wish a brighter future for the many people he's hurt.
And I'm glad the hobby has rejected him.
In hindsight, it was long overdue.
